Galilee Medical Center was founded in 2002 to provide care for the residents of the Chicago land area. Thanks to our supportive patients, we have been able to grow our practice to 5 primary care physicians and 7 specialist. Our specialties include: Gastroenterology; Cardiology; Pain Management; Urology; General Surgery; Podiatry and Orthopedics and Physical therapy.
Dr. Zarina Merchant is a dependable and reputable pediatrician and primary care doctor based in Chicago, IL. Dr. Merchant earned her medical degree from Dow Medical College in Karachi, Pakistan. She then moved to the United States where she completed her residency in pediatrics at Mercy Hospital & Medical Center. She also completed her fellowship in pediatric gastroenterology at the Children's Hospital of Buffalo. More information here!
Dr. Jose Castellanos is a skilled and accomplished family physician and primary care doctor that is part of the Galilee Medical Center team since 2013. Dr. Pocholo Florentino is a diligent and detail-oriented family physician and primary care doctor serving the communities of Elgin and Chicago, IL. Dr. Florentino earned his medical degree from the University of Santo Tomas Faculty of Medicine and Surgery in Manila, Philippines. He also completed a residency in general surgery at the Hospital of New Society Medical Center.
