Immigration Physicals
we are proud to provide immigration medical exams to those patients who may require one. An immigration medical exam is a necessary part of immigrating to the United States and becoming a permanent resident (green card holder). Sometimes called a green card medical exam, the appointment is a routine part of the process to ensure public safety and remove the grounds for inadmissibility for intending immigrants.
Certain diseases of public health significance make an individual inadmissible to the United States. The exam is the process to remove these grounds of inadmissibility.

The Examination
In addition to taking a medical history, physical evaluation, and mental evaluation, the doctor will also make sure that you have had all the required vaccinations. Some vaccines are expressly required by the Immigration and Nationality Act, and others are required because the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) have determined they are in the interest of public health.

Annual School Physicals
We provide a comprehensive examination, order any necessary tests, and answer any questions you may have about your care. If you are in need of vaccinations, those will also be provided.
Please remember to bring any forms your child’s school requires us to fill out so that we can be sure to do so.

Sports Physicals
A sports physical is a necessary document to ensure your child can participate in sports both in school and recreationally.
Generally, all physicals begin with a discussion of medical and family history to establish your child’s health background. Common tests conducted during the physical include:

  • Checking heart and lung function
  • Evaluating reflexes and flexibility
  • Examining the ears, nose, and throat
  • Vision screening

We will also check other aspects of your health as needed and remind you and your child of sport safety practices to prevent injury.
